Located on the ground floor at 19 University Place, this heavily used 120 seat lecture hall was redesigned by MAD to include all new finishes, furniture, and lighting. The scope of work included an LED linear light fixture layout providing an evenly lit space that promotes student alertness. The irregularly shaped floor plan and its side seating platforms are surrounded by a neutral color palette, which is contrasted by multi-colored acoustical panels on two of the main wall surfaces. Dedicated to cultural presentations and hosting academically focused forums, it is a highly utilized space.
