Overlooking Gramercy Park, MAD renovated this two-bedroom apartment to include a larger, more contemporary open kitchen and two full baths. A shared living and dining area is defined by a custom screen and contemporary furniture from DDC and B&B Italia that accompanies the owner’s grand piano. New millwork and concealed custom closets optimize storage within each of the private rooms. New light fixtures from Flos and Nemo were selectively placed to feature both their own inherent details as well as the array of artwork throughout the apartment. Additionally central air conditioning was installed to improve thermal control at the updated residence.
