MAD designed offices for Etsy, the handmade online marketplace. The design transformed a raw space in Dumbo, Brooklyn into an Etsy world. MAD generated a series of open workspace areas and acoustically controlled environments which provided access to natural light. The core common spaces are contained within two continuous curved walls which permit passage and reinforce transparency. Handmade materials are introduced throughout the space promoting the brand and contrasting the loft space.
