Steinhardt Undergraduate Art Studios

New York University requested that we plan the relocation of the Steinhardt Art BFA Art studios from the first floor of 20 Cooper Square to the lower level of Third Ave. North residential hall. The scope area was previously an IT data center and the project required a gut renovation of the lower-level space, totaling approximately 10,200SF. The project provides four distinct crit areas and 64 studio cubicles, new ADA restrooms and associated support spaces.

Technology and lighting were critical to the success of the project since natural light was unavailable at this location. Our team coordinated the strategy and implementation of these systems.
