Located at the NW corner of Washington Square Park, MAD gut renovated and designed this 25’ wide Greek Revival home from 1839. Situated in a landmark neighborhood, we paid homage to many historical details of that time, maintaining the original banister throughout the home as well as several original marble fireplaces. The building was converted from a 10 unit multiple dwelling to a single-family residence. This home spans nearly 8,500 SF, including six bedrooms plus a maids suite, eight bathrooms, movie theatre, and a wine cellar. A new elevator was introduced and the building systems include two water purification systems, a central vac cleaning system, heated floors, and an integrated AV system. MAD was also responsible for all interior design and furnishings.
