Located on the main floor of the historic Kent Hall, the new Center for Veteran Transition & Integration offers current and past Columbia students a place of reference at the main campus. The center’s staff is able to support the transition of service members from the military to civilian life.

Our design provides an open flexible space that is used for events, seminars and informal gatherings while also being a working space for visitors. Acoustical panels define the event area and is anchored on one end by an AV screen surrounded by wood paneling. Offices, workstations, and conference rooms along the space’s perimeter, offer the necessary areas for collaboration and private meetings. An open lounge near the entrance of the Center faces Amsterdam Avenue and displays a bust of President Eisenhower among many other military items that are part of the Center’s collection.
